OUR PROGRAMMES & PROJECTS
THE PARENT PLAYBOX
STRENGTHENING PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIPS
This comprehensive programme provides parents/ caregivers of children ages 0-6 with the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources to actively support their children’s early learning, development, and well-being within the comfort of their own homes.
The heart of the Parent PlayBox lies in a thoughtfully curated kit filled with engaging weekly activities and play prompts, inspired by a holistic Early Years Framework, the Rainbow Play Approach, developed by our partners, Learn to Play. A key component of this programme is the training provided by Kids Collab and Learn to Play to ensure that parents and caregivers are equipped and prepared to lead the project with their children at home.
PLAY PARKS
ACTIVATING FREE PLAY SESSIONS IN COMMUNITIES
The Play Parks initiative is a community-centred programme that aims to provide free and accessible weekly physical activity sessions in a local park or community space. The initiative brings children together for an hour every week and helps them play together in a way that is healthy and educational, fostering their fundamental movement skills, social connections, and engagement with their local community. It is designed for children aged 2-9 years and can be implemented in communities of diverse demographics, ensuring that children from all areas can benefit from the programme.
SCHOOL PROGRAMME
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND WELLBEING PROGRAMME
The Kids Collab School Solution is a versatile resource that empowers educators, sports staff, teaching assistants, and anyone working with children aged 2 to 9, both in and outside of school settings. It’s a user-friendly solution designed to enhance physical development and well-being in early childhood education. The resources are packed with knowledge-based content, meticulously curated and developed by healthcare professionals, to enrich the educational experience. These resources seamlessly integrate into existing curricula, providing valuable tools to support physical education and promote movement within the classroom.
MOTIVATE TO MOVE
CONNECTING ATHLETES AND COMMUNITIES
“Motivate to Move” is a dynamic initiative that transcends the boundaries of sports. It’s about inspiring change, creating a positive outlook on physical activity, and instilling values that extend beyond the field. Through engaging sports teams, we aim to empower our youth, promote a lifelong love for movement, and foster role models in our communities. This initiative connects players and children, building bridges for lasting, positive change. It’s about embracing the power of sport to motivate, move, and make a difference.
Sports teams are trained on the Kids Collab programme, to help players understand fundamental movement skills and how they can engage with young children to help get them active. The sports teams then visit schools and communities and carry out the initiative with the children on the ground, providing a safe and inclusive environment for the children to play.
